May Events

Here are all the places I'll be reading, signing, drawing, and talking in May. 

  •  LitFest Pasadena - Saturday, May 12 @ 12:00

I'll be signing Beep and Bah at the Once Upon A Time booth from 12 to 1. Stop by and I'll draw a picture of Beep or Bah in every book. For more info on the festival click the link. 

  •  Picture This! Storytime and Workshop - Saturday, May 19 10:30am to 5:00pm 

 In the morning from 10:30 to 1:30 I'll be taking part in a fun storytime event for kids. 

Kids and parents of all ages, join us for a storytime extravaganza! Meet authors and illustrators, listen to stories, and draw anything you can imagine... Join James Burks (Beep & Bah), Max Kornell (Bear with Me), Laura Lacamara (Floating on Mama's Song), Micah Player (Chloe, Instead), Candace Ryan (Ribbit Rabbit), Ann Stampler (The Wooden Sword).  Then in the afternoon from 2 to 5 I'll be participating in a workshop for aspiring picture book writers and illustrators. 

Aspiring picture book authors and illustrators, this workshop is for you! Meet published picture  book creators and learn about the process of getting your ideas and illustrations into print. The workshop includes an informal critique session with an industry professional. So far our author/illustrator guests include James Burks (Beep & Bah, Gabby & Gator), Candace Ryan (Ribbit Rabbit, Animal House), Ann Stampler (The Wooden Sword), Frans Vischer (Fuddles), Max Kornell (Bear with Me), and Micah Player (Chloe, Instead).

  •  La Mesa Childrens Book Festival - May 20 10:00am to 4:00pm

I'll be hitting the main stage at 11:30 for an action packed reading of Beep and Bah followed by a bah-some book signing where I will draw and sign in every book.  Here's the link for more info: LA MESA
